Subsonic Park’s experimental album Inner City Codes combines DubTech sounds and atmospheres with Detroit Techno harmonies.

Deep moody TechHouse keeping the energetic moving vibe. The result is a vibrating sound for home listening and clubbing. Deep inside the sound you will find chords, soft baselines, windy weather and some sand. Dub elements combined with syncopic chords and very emotional atmospheres. Inner City Codes is to be understood as an interface between the repetitive sound patterns of urban club culture merged with the deepness of Dub.

Subsonic Park, the collaborational outfit of Gabriel Le Mar and Alex Azary, is a nod to their musical roots:
the Artificial Intelligence series on Warp Records, Luke Slater's 7th Plain releases, up to Basic Channel and the early productions of Carl Craig on Retroactive.

Along my ambient listening trail I always seek electronic music too. Rarely do I listen to a few tunes, then play them back. I'm so happy I replayed Maidens of Zeal by Plank & Ishq a second time cuz it convinced me to purchase the album. The "Crows" tune really caught me off guard. Second Favorite Track: 12.
