On his previous album Berlin Guitar, Gabriel Le Mar explored the transitional areas between electronic dance music and his more Indie-inspired guitar sound.

On his new album Transition Stage Gabriel conveys his personal musical ideas, continues to experiment with his hand-played guitar sounds and, in a very danceable way, deepens his favourite genres such as techno, acid and dub into an organic blend.

The result is 10 powerful tracks that range from 100 bpm to 127 bpm, conveying states of transitional feeling. Transitions which we go through together as children of our time, decisively shape our perception of the phenomena of our time and are at the same time elements of music.

We are living in a transition stage in which we hopefully become more conscious, kinder and more authentic and let go of things that are no longer needed, so let's be positive and attentive to each other, one love!



Acid Guitar mixes techno house with a dash of dub techno and expressive e-bowed electric guitars.

The eponymous track of the album Transition Stage grooves relaxed and at the same time pushing in 100bpm DeepTechHouse, garnished with a 303 acidline, e-guitars and lets dub guitars glide through the arrangement with progressive rock inspired guitar licks in call + response.

Misty Love Song has a hypnotic dub off beat accentuated rhythm and a sweet melancholy carried by a solid halftime accented groove section. Smooth sounding slide guitars create road movie scenes in your head.

Walk At Night dances its way towards melodic Detroit techno with a Latin swing, expressive guitars, orchestral strings, a funky 303 acidline and a soulful melodic sonic confidence that leads back into the day and brings it full circle.

Walked Into A Dream takes us on a deep and trancy journey into mimalistic acid techno, with a deep pad sound, vocoded voice of Le Mar, definitely peaktime!

Funky Projections rolls through the dubmix soundscapes like a heavy train with a straight beat and funky guitars.

Activating The Visual playfully explores the realms of song vs. track and electronic vs. electric.

In Still Trippin' With Ralf + Florian hypnotic polyphonic sounds, sequences and electric guitars circle around each other in a dance of psychedelic particles and patterns and unite to a piece of psychedelic music...especially suitable for driving on the Autobahn ;-)

Whereas Micromelodic (Organic Jam) mixes DubTechHouse elements with mellow guitars and a dash of acid in an organic flow.

Acid Guitar (Beatless) rounds off the album and focuses on the melodic and harmonic elements, as well as sounds on a deep and chilling mood.
